Adding an External Video to Your Site

Web Cube gives you great flexibility in adding multimedia content. This includes adding videos from popular sites like YouTube, Vimeo, etc.

In this example, we'll add a YouTube video to a new blog post, but the steps are similar in other video uploading sites.

First, go to the the Core Site Administration and click on the Add button next to Blog entries

core_blog_add

Fill out the content of your blog as usual.

add_blog_entry

In a new browser window/tab, open the YouTube video you would like to add.

youtube_embed

Locate the Embed button and click to find the HTML embed code. Select the code and copy (Ctrl+C on Windows, Command+C on Mac) the code.

youtube_embed_code

Go back to Web Cube and paste that code (Ctrl+V on Windows, Command+V on Mac) somewhere in the body of your blog.

blog_youtube_code

Click the Save button and you're done. The video will now show up on the blog entry you just added.
