Adding an Order as Customer Service

Web Cube CMS allows you to add an order via the customer service Call Center interface. This interface is only accessible to Web Cube users marked as is_staff.

First, on the Manage Orders screen, in the top right click Add Order:

manage_orders

This will take you to the Create Order screen. This is similar to what the user would see on the front end of the website. It will record the admin user as the creator of the order. The first section is for filling in the address.

Next is for adding products. To add a product, click the magnifying glass and select the SKU. All products added must be added by sku, but you can search by the SKU name.

After you have selected the products and set the quantities, scroll to the bottom of the page and hit Update Cart.

update_cart

This will refresh the page and enter show product images if available for the products selected, as well as update the current subtotal in the upper right, and add shipping options.

updated_cart

Verify you have selected the correct shipping method. Continue to update the cart contents and shipping as needed, or add a coupon code or additional fee or discount if necessary. The shipping, taxes and coupons will be shown under fees/discounts but will be uneditable as these are controlled by the cart. Once you are ready with the order, hit confirm to go to the final page. This does not finalize the checkout yet.

confirm_cart

On the confirm page, you will be able to review the order and verify the totals for the customer over the phone. If you need to make any changes, click Make More Changes to return and edit the cart.

Enter the customer's billing information and hit checkout to finalize the purchase.

If you would like at any point in time to discard your cart and start again, hit Discard Cart in the lower left. This will remove the cart. If you have an order in your cart, it will remain there until you checkout or you discard the cart.
