From time to time, your web site and/or products will be mentioned on a famous magazine or web site. Web Cube's Press app is a great way to share the news with your visitors, as well as increase your search engine rankings by adding relevant content to your site.

Press Items can be browsed by date, as well as by category (if activated via custom templates). You can add images, videos, and even link products from your online catalog to each Press Item.

To add a new press item, follow these steps:

From the Core Site Administration page, click the Add button next to Press items

Fill in the Title, Lead in, Text, and any other required fields. Be sure to select the site.

You may also add photos to your press item. To do this, scroll down to the Press Item Photos section and, for each photo, upload the original image and enter the title of the photo.

Note: The thumbnail image (which will be automatically generated if left blank) of the first press photo will be used in the press listing page. Keep that in mind and order your photos so that the image you want to represent the press item is the first one.

If you have a product being feature in the Press Item, it's a good idea to link it to the press item. This way, users can easily navigate to the product and purchase it.

To link a product to the Press item, simply click on the search button and locate the product

Once you're done, click on the Save button. Your press item will now appear on the Press section of your site.
